Gama Glória waives its liability for any damages that may occur in relation with the information contained in this website, (“site”), which is merely informative and has no advertising content.

Gama Glória authorizes users to download and temporarily store the content of this website for the purpose of viewing it on a personal device. The reproduction, permanent storage, or retransmission of the content of this site without prior written consent from Gama Glória is strictly forbidden. Privacy Policy

Gama Glória treats the collected personal data, in the cases of its supply and submission by the online application forms made available, in compliance with the principles and rules arising from European and national legislation on the protection of personal data, in particular those pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 and the Portuguese implementing law, Law No. 58/2019 of 08 August.

Gama Glória manages personal data for the sole purpose of evaluating applications and assessing the profiles appropriate to the established recruitment policy. Navigation on this site does not necessarily imply the provision of personal data, thus no personal data identifying the user is automatically recorded, except in situations of use of the features that imply the provision of personal data by the user. Gama Glória may collect non-personal and non-identifiable information from a specific user for the purpose of monitoring the use of our services and for developing and improving our website.

Treatment of Personal Data

Personal Data

Gama Glória treats the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification data (g., name, date of birth, gender, address, contact information, identification document details, passport information and taxpayer number, nationality and/or other);
  • Education and work experience data (g., education, qualifications, certifications, languages, curricula, information regarding previous employers and/or other);
  • Image registration data (g., photographic and/or video images).
    • Data processing and collection

The personal data collected by Gama Glória in this form is processed and electronically stored, and eventually on paper, for the period of time strictly necessary for the pursuit of the aforementioned purposes, in accordance with point 4 of this “Privacy Policy“.

Gama Glória is the entity responsible for the treatment of personal data. The information provided is treated in a confidential manner and used exclusively for recruitment purposes and consideration of an eventual collaboration of the data personal subject with Gama Glória (“data subjects”). In some cases, Gama Glória may indirectly collect the candidate’s personal data, namely through public sources. In such an event, Gama Glória shall provide the respective data subjects with all information related to the processing of such data, at the first opportunity. Although mere navigation on the Gama Glória website does not imply the provision of personal data, Gama Glória collects the information that the applicant chooses to fill out in the forms provided.

Gama Glória does not provide the collected personal data to subcontracted entities. In case of applicant selection, the data collected in this form, together with any other data obtained in the context of the professional relationship, will be used for human resources management, to ensure compliance with legal obligations and provide personnel with the necessary means to pursue their professional activity.

Purposes of data processing

Gama Glória processes personal data for the following purposes and based on its legitimate interest or its interest in the analysis of applications and submitting applicants to an internal selection process, according to previously defined criteria:

  • Correspond to the requests of the forms’ subscribers on the Gama Glória website and adjust the respective communication;
  • For recruitment and selection, which includes the analysis of applications and curricula, as well as the internal process of selecting lawyers and employees according to the needs detected.

 

In order to use the personal data collected through the available forms, Gama Glória will provide all necessary information so that users may give their consent prior to the treatment of their data.

Conservation Period

The collection, processing and conservation of personal data is done for the period strictly indispensable for the purposes pursued, unless otherwise specifically required by law or if the data subject exercises, within the legal limits, the right to object, delete or withdraw consent to the processing of the data.

Personal data will be conserved for the following periods in accordance with applicable legislation:

  • Communications and sending of information: Until opposition of the data subject;
  • Recruitment and selection: Up to a maximum period of two years, from the application submission date or curriculum, in the event the applicant is not selected; and
  • During the period in which the professional relationship with Gama Glória is maintained, in the remaining cases.
  • Recipients of personal data

The personal data collected may be communicated to Gama Glória human resources services, responsible for the recruitment process, to the extent necessary for the assessment of the candidates’ profiles. Gama Glória has a very strict security policy, from a technical and organizational point of view, to protect personal data against its destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access, and against any other form of illicit or abusive treatment.

Rights of the personal data subjects

Gama Glória provides data subjects with the appropriate means to exercise their rights, in accordance with the applicable legislation. Data subjects may, at any time, request access, rectification, limitation, elimination, or portability of their data, or oppose its treatment.

The exercise of rights may be subject to justified and proportional limitations in view of the need of Gama Glória to ensure the pursuit of its legitimate interest or compliance with its legal undertakings. Data subjects may obtain confirmation that their personal data is being processed, and a copy of the processed data shall be made available upon request. In compliance with applicable legislation, it is guaranteed to data subjects the right to withdraw their consent to the treatment of their data for the purposes indicated, however that does not invalidate the treatment carried out until the date of withdrawal, on the basis of the previously given consent.

Exercise of rights

In accordance with the applicable legislation, the data subjects are guaranteed the exercise of their rights by means of a written request addressed to the entity responsible for the data processing and sent by e-mail to daniel.vilao@gamagloria.com and careers@gamagloria.com.

Data subjects may exercise their rights gratuitously.
